Welcome to Your Family Calendar

The Family Calendar is a powerful, multi-member calendar system designed to help your family stay organized and connected. With color-coded events, assignable tasks, and seamless calendar synchronization, managing your family’s schedule has never been easier.

Key Features:

  • Color-Coded Events: Each family member can have their own color to easily distinguish their events at a glance
  • Assignable Events: Create events and assign them to specific family members
  • iCal Feed Support: Subscribe to your family calendar from any device using iCal feeds
  • External Calendar Sync: Connect and sync with Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Apple Calendar
  • Multi-Member Access: Add family members and give them appropriate access levels
  • Import/Export Options: Easily import events from other calendars or export your family calendar

Getting Started:

  1. Add Family Members: Go to Settings > User Management to add family members by email invitation
  2. Set Up Colors: Assign a unique color to each family member for easy visual identification
  3. Connect External Calendars: Link your Google, Outlook, or Apple calendars in the Sync Settings
  4. Create Events: Start adding events and assign them to family members
  5. Share Your Calendar: Use the iCal feed URL to subscribe on other devices

Onboarding Guide:

Step 1: Create Your Profile
Complete your user profile with your name, email, and preferred calendar color.

Step 2: Invite Family Members
Navigate to Settings > Member Management and send email invitations to family members.

Step 3: Sync External Calendars
Connect your existing calendars (Google, Outlook, Apple) to automatically import events.

Step 4: Set Up Notifications
Configure email and push notifications for event reminders and updates.

Import/Export Instructions:

To Import Events:

  • Go to Tools > Import Calendar
  • Select your calendar file (.ics format)
  • Choose which calendar to import into
  • Assign imported events to family members

To Export Events:

  • Go to Tools > Export Calendar
  • Select date range and calendar
  • Download as .ics file
  • Use the file to backup or share your calendar

iCal Feed URL:
Your personal iCal feed URL can be found in Settings > Calendar Sync. Copy this URL and add it to your preferred calendar application to stay synced across all devices.
